The Home Care Aide Council’s Annual Spring Conference, scheduled for June 8 at the Crowne Plaza in Natick, is the event for home care agencies to gather for updates on current industry news, network, and hear best practices. This year, the Council is excited to welcome the Co-Chairs of the Joint Committee on Elder Affairs, Senator Barbara L’Italien (D-Andover) and Representative Danielle Gregoire (D-Marlborough). Both elected officials were newly appointed in February to chair the Massachusetts Joint Legislative Committee on Elder Affairs. They will present during the morning keynote session titled, “The View from Beacon Hill on Elder and Home Care Issues.” The presentation will include time for questions and answers with the legislative leaders.

During lunch, attendees will hear from Michael Bertoncini, Principal with Jackson Lewis PC. He will give a legal update on the issues affecting home care providers. Time for questions and answers will also be included.

The Annual Spring Conference will feature exhibits from industry vendors as well as educational workshops designed for managers, clinicians, and human resource professionals.
